All grown up.

I believe that for some kids it's using the toilet the first time. Others it's losing their first tooth. For Teddy, today was a big day. The necklace a "real" pirate gave him on our first big trip to the OBX, that he's worn for FOUR years and everyone recognizes, fell off today. Leaving a tan mark behind, he looks suddenly like a big kid.

Before...

After...

We drove to Madrid today for a little shopping across an Indian reservation. Beautiful land. Only bought a decorated cross to hang, the turquoise bracelet that called my name and begged me to take it home had a price of $495. When I come back after I win the lottery, that will be my first purchase, should have taken a photo. We had a great lunch and a few local-ish beers at the Mineshaft Tavern - thanks Martin & Barb, today was all their suggestion.

Those wind chime had an awesome sound.

Madrid art.

More swimming and grilling, aiming to leave around 7:30 am for the Grand Canyon!!

The view from our camper.
