Small camper syndrome.

I believe that everyone being pissy for a day is ok.

Today was overall a 7/10 on the excitement scale. It's great to be in a new city, but 108 degrees - dry or not - is a little tricky. After a long coffee break and the newness that we had actually gained another hour wore off, we ran a few errands and hit Roswell. The boys spent hours...hours...in the Alien museum while Annie and I entered every alien themed store making our way down to the Hippie Chick shop 8 blocks south. 8 blocks seemed like 80 in the heat and to top it off a bee felt the need to attack my arm. If I lived in Roswell, I'd make my millions with a shop that caters to bored women that think aliens are green and that's it. Just green.

All was forgiven when we were able to swim in the beautiful lake, water 70, air 108....tell me you're not envious!! OH! And in case Barb and Martin are reading, Kevin laughing wildly at two am? Our awning was making a clicking noise, so he ventures out amongst the diamondbacks and retracts the awning. However, he forgets to hold onto it and it smacks back into the camper at maybe 110 mph. Yep. We have a dent in the camper to prove it.

One of those little white spots is our camper. I ran the 8 mile park loop this morning (459/1000) and am grateful for not only the scenery but also the dry heat. And you know, when mom is happy, everyone is happy! On to Albuquerque...
