Grand Canyon at Sunset

Today is our last day at the canyon...time to move along. We decided to spend the day cleaning up, swimming and grocery shopping. 2/3 isn't bad! Clean up didn't really happen but reality in a camper like this is that there's not much you can do until you leave.

Lots of swimming - Teddy's legs finally feel better. We left for the Canyon at 4 and hit the Marketplace.

We shopped a little then hopped on a the blue then red shuttles. If you haven't been here, you can ride free shuttles around the Canyon to reach any point of interest you wish. It is too cool. They pick up every 15 min and after sunset it's every 10.

We made a pasta salad to eat while waiting and brought several types of liquids this time. Some people showed up with bottles of wine to celebrate the sunset.

Annie's camera is incredible and she has a great eye, I smell a future for her!

Kevin has wanted to see the sunset at the Canyon since before I met him. Tonight was truly a big moment for him. It was impossible to stop taking pictures of the changing landscape, there are going to be some Kodak Frames bulging once we get home ;)!

PS - before you walk away gagging with happiness and glee, I am still 3kids, 2dogs and a M in L. Got back to camper to find a dog got sick...no, about died, on my bed. So at midnight we are doing laundry. However, due to the shortage of water it took 20 quarters. Really.
